Bonsai Comments:

The Mugo Pine has small dark green evergreen needles helping it to look great all year. This Bonsai is a good one for beginners because it is low-maintenance, a slow grower, and has a burly frame. Pinus mugo mughus is an outdoor tree and with protection from extreme heat and cold, it can stay outdoor all year long. Drought tolerant, disease and insect tolerant are also good assets for a bonsai. Mugo pine is most attractive with its natural shape. Plant seeds in the fall and deep soil evenly moist in deep well-drained soil. Reduce the pine growth slowly over time it will tolerate styling and repotting in the summer months and early fall.
