Our extensive listings of seed

At any given time we have over 2,200 seed lots in stock and ready for shipment. We have another 1,200 that we are always actively sourcing. In addition to this, we have over 10,000 that we can source for special order customers. This may well be the most extensive listing of seeds in the world!

Our quality

We guarantee all the seed that we sell to be true to name and viable to labeled standard. If you are unhappy we investigate and issue credit whenever there is a problem with the seed.

Our supplier network

This is probably what we should be most proud of! We have been scouring the world for the past 40 years looking for hard to find seeds. During this time we have developed friendships with scores of seed collectors and fellow seedsmen on every continent (except Antarctica!) This makes it possible to source the widest array of the best quality seed at the lowest price.

Our customers

We have been selling seed for a long time and our customers rely on us. We have one wholesale customer to whom we are now supplying seed to the 3rd generation. We also have learned a lot from our customers. We are constantly being told of new ways to germinate the seed that we sell. They also help us stay current on what the industry is looking for. We would be nowhere without our loyal customers.

We keep mentioning our vast selections of seed and our amazing suppliers and customers. You would think that we are a giant corporation. We are actually a small company focused on providing the best seeds at the best prices. Our experienced staff ensures that our inventory is carefully monitored and all seed shipments received or shipped, are of the highest quality. We work with pride to continue the legacy of our incredible founder, Rick Sheffield.

Our customer service

We work very hard to maintain the highest level of service to our customers. Orders are entered and packaged as soon as possible and typically ship within two days of receipt. We were one of the first seed companies to go online. This was done in the 1980’s when the majority of our customers were not web-savy. We have always tried to stay cutting edge when it comes to technology. Many people use our web site as a resource for information about the plants that we sell and how to grow them. We are adding information to our site on a daily basis and strive to have the most information possible on the products that we sell.
