Trifolium repens 'Ladino' also known as Ladino White Clover is a low-growing perennial legume native to Europe, North Africa, and West Asia. Widely introduced worldwide as a pasture crop, it is an excellent choice for soil stabilization, wildlife forage and hay. Its winter-hardy feature makes it a perfect fit for cool-season planting and its thick growth evens out rough patches, adding green cover to any landscape. This cool-season legume thrives in moist soil with medium fertility levels of pH between 6.0 - 6.5. Apart from its uses in agriculture, it is also known for producing four-leafed clovers, a symbol of good luck. As a valuable survival food, its high protein content makes it a nutritious addition to any diet. Trifolium repens also has the added benefit of nitrogen fixing, reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers, and out competing other weeds in the lawn. For organic lawn care, it is a beneficial component on its own, adding its unique touch of greenery to any landscape. With so many benefits, you don't want to miss out on adding Trifolium repens 'Ladino' to your space.
