With small flower clusters and rounded fruit, this deciduous lime tree species is native to southeast Europe and western Asia. The young branches are red, adding a pop of color to any landscape. This particular subspecies can be found in northern Iran, northern and western Turkey, the Caucasus, and Crimea.
