Introducing Quercus robur var. x Furst Scharzenberg English Oak, a unique, rare, and artistically appealing plant grown by serious collectors. This distinctive cultivar is not easily found in nurseries due to the challenges involved in its propagation. Its slow growth rate adds to its rarity. This petite and perfectly rounded tree, though starting small, remarkably matures up to a height of 12-15 feet 10 years after becoming established. Its foliage is another characteristic to marvel at, starting as bluish-green during summer, then later transforming into an exquisite variegation of white and green speckles. This foliage morphs from an initial green to subtle pink and then into a mostly white landscape interspersed with green flecks by the end of summer. Appreciated for its low-maintenance growth, it flourishes within Zones 5 through 8. This English Oak variation is indeed a collector's plant and an excellent choice for variegated plant enthusiasts. PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a grafted variety, the seeds will not be genetically the same as the mother tree.
