Nothofagus dombeyi, also known as Dombey's beech, coigue, coihue, or coigüe, is a stunning tree species native to southern Chile and the Andean parts of Argentine Patagonia. Growing up to 148 feet tall and 6.2 feet in diameter, it thrives in low hills with gentle slopes in humid environments with plenty of water. It's an important species for forming dense forests, like those found in national parks, such as Los Alerces and Nahuel Huapi. Coihue timber is highly valued due to its excellent quality for furniture, barrels, floors, and building. It's fast-growing, hard, durable, and decay-resistant. It has also been introduced as an ornamental tree in the British Isles and the North Pacific Coast of the United States. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of South America's natural beauty!
