Glyceria Canadensis, also known as Canadian Mannagrass, Quaking Grass, Rattlesnake Grass or Rattlesnake Mannagrass, is a perennial rhizomatous grass found in temperate regions worldwide. It grows in wetland situations, and while it tolerates upland applications, it needs full sun. This grass is a good forage crop for livestock and wildlife, especially for wetter sites. It's widely used within its range as a wetland mitigation species. While some mannagrasses are considered weeds, this one is native to northeastern USA and eastern Canada, and is endangered in its native habitats.
