Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours.
Stratification: cold stratify for 30 days.
Germination: sow seed 1/16" deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed.

* In Tasmania Eucalyptus nitens is one of the most important plantation tree species along with Eucalyptus globulus (Tasmanian Blue Gum) and Pinus radiata (Monterey Pine). The timber is mainly used in general construction but is beginning to be used in furniture where the discolourations may be a feature. more...
