Physical Characteristics  Cyrilla racemiflora is a deciduous Shrub growing to 1.2 m (4ft) by 2 m (6ft 7in) at a slow rate. It is hardy to zone 5. It is in leaf 10-Apr It is in flower from Aug to October, and the seeds ripen from Sep to November. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by Bees.
