Growing Info, follow in order:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours, repeat process daily for 4 days.
Stratification: cold stratify for 90 days.
Germination: sow 1-2" deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed.

'Lakota'' is a cultivar of Carya illinoinensis, Hardy Pecan, and is a large shade tree that bears high quality pecans.

Grows well in full sun and prefers slightly acidic to neutral soils (PH 6.1 - 7.3).

Produces smaller size nuts (roughly 67/lb). Very high yields.
