Introducing Celtis julianae Julian Hackberry- a deciduous tree that can grow up to 30m tall. Native to forests, valleys, and slopes in the South and Southwest of China, this tree boasts golden pubescent petioles and thickly papery leaves that can measure up to 13cm x 8cm. Its fruits, often found in solitary and unbranched infructescences, are golden to orange-yellow and can reach 1.4cm in size. Its bark appears grey in color, while its winter buds are brown and can grow up to 4mm. Celtis julianae Julian Hackberry is a great choice for garden and landscaping projects.
