They typically grow 6-20 ft tall. Noted for its durability, the Mugo Pine can endure the poorest of soils, droughts, and even strong winds, making it a fantastic choice for coastal area plantings. Transplanting is a breeze with this pine, unlike most other pine species, and as a naturally outbreeding plant, it freely hybridizes with members of its genus.
