Trifolium campestre, also known as Field Clover, is a species of clover native to Europe and western Asia. It thrives in dry, sandy grassland habitats, fields, woodland margins, roadsides, wastelands and cultivated land. This herbaceous annual plant grows to 10-30 cm tall, and has distinctive yellow flowerheads that resemble hop flowers. Its foliage is good for feeding livestock and replenishing soil, making it an important clover in agriculture. Though not typically planted, it is considered a valuable herb when found growing in a pasture. It has become naturalised in North America, particularly in the West and South of the continent. Cultivate the benefits of Trifolium campestre and improve your pasture's health.
