Passiflora edulis, also known as Passion Fruit, Bat Leaved Passion Flower, Granadilla, and Purple Granadilla, is a vine species that originates from Paraguay, Brazil, and northeastern Argentina. This fruit is highly sought-after for its sweet, seedy interior that is perfect for eating or juicing.
