Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours

Introducing the stunning Hesperocyparis lusitanica Cedar-of-Goa, also known as the Mexican Cypress or Mexican White Cedar. Native to Mexico and Central America, this evergreen tree grows up to 40m tall with a conic to ovoid-conic crown. It has drooping branchlets and dark green to somewhat yellow-green foliage that grows in dense sprays. The seed cones are globose to oblong and green at first, maturing brown or grey-brown about 25 months after pollination. This fast-growing and drought-tolerant tree has been introduced to different parts of the world and is widely cultivated as an ornamental tree and for timber production.
